Science-Fiction (und Fantasy) Shows sind in den letzten Jahren aus dem Boden gesprossen und die wenigen guten verbesserten das Genre und machten es mainstreamfähig. Die Sprache ist von Stargate Atlantis, Lost und auch Battlestar Galactica - die neue SCI FI Channel Serie, welche gleich den zweiten Platz in der Serien Top 50 Liste belegte.
Stargate SG-1, on air seit 1997, belegt einen Platz unter den Top 10, nämlich die Nummer 6. Stargate Atlantis findet man 20 Plätze weiter hinten - Platz 26 für die zwei Jahre alte Spin-Off Serie. Hier die Liste:
