Jonas' Volk bittet die Erde um Unterstützung im Krieg gegen eine rivalisierende Nation, aber sein alter Mentor unterbreitet ihm eine andere Möglichkeit: eine Widerstandsbewegung, die bereit ist, die Herrschaft zu übernehmen und den Frieden zu sichern.
Kieran

Dr. Kieran ist Kelownaner und stammt von dem Kontinent Langara. Er ist Professor und arbeitete einst mit Jonas Quinn zusammen. Kieran ist der führende Experte auf dem Gebiet des Naquadriah und schaffte es mit seinem Team eine funktionierende Naquadriah-Bombe zu entwickeln.
Als sich zwei andere Völker von Kelowna zusammenschließen, befürchten die Langaraner das Schlimmste und treten mit dem SGC in Kontakt. Sie bieten Naquadriah im Austausch gegen militärische Technologien an. Kieran reist bei den ersten Verhandlungen mit zur Erde, verhält sich dabei allerdings bereits seltsam, da er Jonas ignoriert.
Die Langaraner wollen die Naquadriah-Bombe einsetzen, wenn das SGC ihnen nicht helfen will, doch Kieran ist strikt dagegen.
Er erzählt SG-1, dass er Teil einer Untergrundbewegung auf Kelowna ist, die die Regierung stürzen will. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt wissen sie allerdings noch nicht, dass er durch seine viele Arbeit mit dem Naquadriah paranoid geworden ist und sich die Untergrundbewegung nur einbildet.
Außerdem wirkt sich dies auch auf seine Konzentrationsfähigkeit aus und er wirkt auf andere 'wirr'.
SG-1 begleitet ihn also nach Kelowna und Kieran will Kontakt mit der Untergrundbewegung aufnehmen, um den Plan die Regierung zu stürzen umzusetzen. Dafür soll SG-1 Truppen durch das Gate schicken.
Jedoch bildet er sich ein, dass er verfolgt wird und versucht zu fliehen. Dabei stürzt er und trägt unter anderem eine Gehirnerschütterung davon.
Dr. Kieran wird zur Erde gebracht, wo er medizinisch versorgt wird. Er darf auf der Erde bleiben und wird zu einer speziellen Einrichtung gebracht.Erster Auftritt - Stargate: SG-1

Biografie
Dean Stockwell wurde am 05.03.1936 in Hollywood, Kalifornien geboren.
Im Laufe seiner Karriere arbeitete er bereits mit vielen Schauspielgrößen zusammen, darunter unter anderem mit Orson Welles in “Compulsion“ sowie Gene Kelly und Frank Sinatra in “Anchors Aweigh“.
Viele kennen ihn womöglich als 'Admiral Al Calavicci' aus “Quantum Leap“.
Außerdem verkörperte er in dem Remake von “Battlestar Galactica“ Zylon Nummer Eins.
Dean Stockwell starb am 07.11.2021 in Whangarei, Neuseeland.
