Favourite Atlantis Episode

My favorite episode(s)?
Uh... that's quite difficult, I think it's much easier to list the eps I don't like at all!
and these would be:
- Childhood ends
- Michael
- Irresponsible

all other eps are pretty good, but if I've to make a decision which of the rest are the best I'd say:
'Common ground' and 'Sunday'
These both are totally awesome!!!

definitley the siege part 2 and 3!
because of the amazing VFX, the whole fight look so great and excitingand most of all realistic!
just watched it again yesterday, but i could watch it 7 times a week

Really? I liked Childhoods end, especially some of the music in it - that kind that has that 'beat' to it, that was also used for the replicators.

Favs in Season 1: Duett, Conversion, Grace under Pressure, Michael
Favs in Season 2: 38 Minutes, Poisoning the Well (!!!), The Eye, Hot Zone (!!!), Michael (!!!)
Favs in Season 3: won't tell! *G* Shame on SUNDAY! * Atlantis will not be the same without Beckett! Will I watch Atlantis without him? *doubt* *Amen!*

I like most "Common Ground". For three reasons: it's a good Sheppard-episode, a new way to see the wraith and Kolya takes part. I really like the Genii and most Kolya. Because he is such a great villain with so much charism. I don't like it that they had killed him.

I also like "Conversion", "The Storm & The Eye", "The Defiant One", "The Long Goodbye" and much much more. Maybe it would be for me also easier to write the episodes I really don't like.

For Season One I must agree. There is no episode I really don't like. In an other thread I had chosen "The Gift" as the worst episode, but it's not so that I don't like it.
In this Season I also like much "Rising" and "The Siege 2".

In Season Two there is one episode I don't like. It's "Michael". I don't know why but I've never ended seeing this episode. I don't like the plot, but I don't have problems with the figure Michael, because the other episodes with him are not so bad.
In this Season I also like much "Trinity" and "Aurora"

Trinity, that is where Rodney says that with the 5/6th of a Galaxy, isn`t it?
Rodney is so cool, I can`t stop laughing when he speaks.

Michael is an episode I don`t know if to like or to hate. It shows our heroes in a very other and not better light. But that has not to be bad. It shows that they are people as well and feel like you and me, but I still have another sight of the things when dealing with genetics and the dignity not only of humans but of every creature living in this universe!

Dr. Weir: You destroyed three-quarters of a solar system!
Dr. McKay: Five-sixths, but it's not an exact science.
Dr. Weir: Rodney, can you give your ego a rest for one second?!

Rodney is really funny. In every episode is at least one scene I can laugh about Rodney.


Yeah, "Michael" is a difficult topic. It's right that it makes our heros more "normal". Human can fail. But is it right to deside about the life of an other? Although they are such an evil race. You remember "Rising"?! When the queen says "every living thing must eat". That makes them a little bit more understandable. The Wraith are really bad, but also want to life - like we.

Rodney is really a funny guy. Thats the reason why I love the episode "Duett" so much! Its just absolutly fun to watch rodney while he is trying to handle the whole situation.

I especially liked this kissing-scene with Rodney and Beckett. I couldnt believe in what I was seeing. That was so crazy. I dont want to know what the actors standing around them were thinking!

Now I have some favorite episodes from the third season

McKay and Mrs. Miller - It was so perfekt to see David and his sister playing Rogney and his Sister. They do not even look similar, they play so as well. This was too much for my risible muscles And then "Meredith". This was the top, no way to make it more crazy and funny! The very best episode of season 3.

Sunday - On second place there is the sadest and most emotional episode of the season (and of the series). The scene when the bomb explodes is quite hard but it is a good decision to let a popular character die. The obsequy (Trauerfeier, Beo gab das so raus) was fine too. And of course to see what you can do an Atlantis in your freetime (golfing, fishing, play chess )

Common Ground - Just because its the only Shep-episode and I am certainly a Sheppard-Fan, so this is my place 3. But it's a quite good story too, so it can't be all wrong

Common ground wasn't the only Sheppard episode, well, perhaps the only one concentrating merely on Sheppard but Phantoms had some very importants scenes too.

I have many favourite scenes, most of them from the third season...

The end of Phantoms for example, where Rodney complains over and over again over the fact that Sheppard hit him with a bullet, thinking he was a Taliban or something. And of course Ronon's snort of laughter... that's jus pure team fun!

and of course the "How screwed we are" report from The ark! Just cool!

My favourite Atlantis episode!
It`s not that easy. I´m unobjective.
Most of all I like the Sheppard episodes.
e.g. 38 Minutes, Common Ground, Conversion, The Lost Boys, Epiphany, Submersion, Doppelganger, Travellers, The Last Man, Inquisition, Vegas
and I like Sateda, especially one scene in which Sheppard says :
……… No. I have friends.
You, Elisabeth, Ronon. Carson, even Rodney are the closest thing I have to
a ….. Teyla: A family?
I´d do anything for anyone of you.
If I had to give up my life the way Ronon was going to, I would.
I like this scene a lot!
